Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 August 2026. Effective as of 28 August 2026.

1. Parties and service description

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to EnvisaBook (the “Service”) at https://calendar.envisasoft.com.

The Service is provided by Author Elixir Inc. (“EnvisaSoft,” “we,” “us”), a corporation with a principal address at Suite 239, Scotia Place Tower 3, 10072 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5J 1V8, Canada. EnvisaBook is a product of Author Elixir Inc.

EnvisaBook is a WordPress appointment booking plugin and related EnvisaSoft account services. You install the plugin on a WordPress website you control. Clients book services, see real availability, and may pay for appointments when you configure paid services. The Service includes provider tools inside WordPress (services, availability, calendar, notifications) and an EnvisaSoft billing account at calendar.envisasoft.com for subscription management.

Two separate Stripe uses: (1) your EnvisaBook subscription to EnvisaSoft, billed through Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Customer Portal; and (2) optional client appointment payments on your WordPress site, configured by you in the plugin with your own Stripe keys. These are separate financial flows. A client paying for an appointment does not change your EnvisaSoft subscription, and your subscription payment does not create an appointment payment record.

2. Plans, trial, and pricing

Published self-service plans include Starter and Professional, billed monthly or annually in USD through Stripe. One subscription covers one active WordPress website registered to your billing account. Custom commercial arrangements are available by contacting EnvisaSoft and are not sold through self-service checkout.

New accounts may start a 14-day free trial without entering a payment method at signup, when Stripe Checkout is configured for that flow. A trial is offered once per billing account. After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription unless your account is billing-exempt.

Stripe is the payment processor for EnvisaSoft subscriptions. Cancellation initiated through the Stripe Customer Portal is scheduled at the end of the current billing period unless Stripe shows otherwise. These Terms do not describe refunds, chargebacks, tax treatment, or a money-back guarantee.

3. Account registration

You must create an EnvisaSoft billing account with a name, email address, and password. You must be at least 18 years old. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Do not share your password.

4. WordPress site and license

You register each WordPress site URL in your billing account and receive a license key for the plugin. The license is verified server-side against EnvisaSoft. The key must match the registered site URL. Do not attempt to use one subscription to authorize multiple unrelated websites beyond the one-site model described on the pricing page.

When a subscription expires or is not entitled to access, EnvisaSoft may restrict commercial plugin features according to your plan. We do not delete your bookings, clients, services, availability rules, or calendar connection data solely because a subscription ended.

5. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Installing and updating the EnvisaBook plugin on WordPress sites you manage.
  • Configuring services, availability, notifications, and optional Stripe appointment payments.
  • Connecting Google Calendar when you choose to use Google busy-time or write-back features.
  • Handling client communications, cancellations, rescheduling policies, and any legal obligations that apply to your business.
  • Protecting WordPress admin credentials and any Stripe or Google credentials you configure in the plugin.

6. Client and appointment data

Booking data (clients, appointments, messages you send through the plugin) is stored in your WordPress site database unless otherwise described in the Privacy Policy. You decide which services are offered, what information clients must provide, and whether appointments are free or paid.

7. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only to operate appointment booking for websites you are authorized to manage, in a manner consistent with these Terms and applicable law.

You may not attempt to access another customer’s billing account, license keys, or Stripe objects; probe or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by mandatory law; abuse trials or license verification; or use the Service to send unlawful spam or collect data without a lawful basis.

8. Google Calendar

If you connect Google Calendar, you authorize EnvisaBook to read busy periods and, on Professional plans, optionally create or update calendar events according to plugin settings. Google’s terms and privacy policies also apply to that connection. You may disconnect at any time from the plugin.

9. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties including Stripe and Google. Their terms apply to those integrations. EnvisaSoft does not control third-party uptime or policy changes.

10. Suspension and termination

You may cancel your EnvisaSoft subscription through the Customer Portal. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, or non-payment according to Stripe and product behavior. Termination of the subscription does not automatically uninstall the plugin from your WordPress site.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. EnvisaSoft does not guarantee uninterrupted booking, payment capture, calendar sync, or email delivery. You are responsible for testing your configuration before relying on it for production scheduling.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Author Elixir Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to EnvisaSoft for EnvisaBook in the twelve (12) months before the claim, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
